Horseback Riding: Horseback Riding offers a variety of horseback riding experiences for all levels of riders. The resort has two stables; the Shenandoah Valley Stables offer rides for more experienced riders and pony rides for children. Both stables provide a variety of trails as well.
Petting farm: A petting farm is where guests can interact with and feed various farm animals, such as goats, sheep, pigs, and cows.

Basketball Courts: Near the Massanutten Resort, two outdoor basketball courts are open for guests to enjoy. The courts are lighted for night play and feature adjustable hoops. Campers can also rent basketballs from the resort’s recreation center.
Mountain Bike Park: The bike park features over 10 miles of trails from beginner to expert levels. The courses are designed for all skill levels and feature jumps, berms, and other obstacles. The park also offers a pump track and a skills area. Guests can rent mountain bikes from the resort’s recreation center.

The pool is heated for comfort and has comfortable lounge chairs surrounding it. Several fun features include a water slide, giant buckets that dump water on kids, neon palm trees, and a whale statue that sprays water. Kids, especially younger ones, can spend hours here without getting bored.
Outdoor Shipwreck Cove Pool – opening Memorial Day weekend
Shipwreck Cove Pool is a fun water park for families and kids. It has a pirate theme and offers lots of water activities for everyone. The park includes a lazy river, slides, and a particular area for younger kids. You can also buy drinks and snacks at the refreshment center. Note that the park has special hours during holidays, so it’s best to check the calendar before visiting.
Peg Leg Putt Putt FREE miniature golf course
The Peg Leg Putt Putt resort offers a mini-golf course open all year. If you want to play, you can borrow golf clubs for free at the front desk. You don’t need to bring golf clubs or pay extra to use them. Just ask the people at the front desk, and they will give you the equipment you need.
Kids outdoor playground
The kid’s outdoor playground has slides, swings, and monkey bars in the center of the resort grounds. It is open all year so that you can visit and play anytime. You can always wear gloves and swing on the swings for fun, whether hot or cold.
