Now, as a full-time travel writer and content creator, I get to share our family’s adventures and inspire others to explore the world. With a background in Healthcare Administration and Integrated Marketing Communication, I’ve brought my skills in branding, advertising, PR, and communication to the travel industry.

my Inspiration
As a young black Latina serving in a leadership role in a billion-dollar company, I struggled for a long time to find a work-life balance as a career woman, a wife, and a mom. However, after the coronavirus pandemic struck, I realized that my family’s happiness is the most important thing for me.
In 2020, my little daughter Mia told me how sad she was because I was never there to spend time with her and her brother, even when the entire world seemed to have shut down. Hearing these words, not just from my daughter, but from my husband as well, crushed my soul, and I realized I needed to make a change quickly.
That’s when we decide to start Kids, Quarantine & Me.
We inspire families to get out and have adventures in the great outdoors with their kids. It is wonderful to watch your kids develop rapidly by being exposed to strange, unusual, and unexpected things.
Travel is a great way to bond with your kids and get to know them early on without the pressures of a daily routine. That is why it is important to travel as a family, look for weekend getaways, and participate in kids friendly activities. You will be amazed at how much you enjoy it.
Meet my Family
Mia, Mia, Pizza Eater
Our little girl may be small but she has the biggest personality in our family — she gets it from her mom. She is bossy, opinionated, sassy, a creator, a problem-solver, and a wonderful planner. She is also a voracious pizza eater since 2 weird all, hence, the nickname Mia, Mia, Pizza Eater.
She does not yet know how to be bored and she is always ready to get out and get going. Out of all four of us, she is the bravest — and you will understand when you meet her.
Myles Smile
Myles is the sweetest boy I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is polite, kind, shy, and reserved. Ever since he was born, he has been a serious kid who does not show his beautiful smile often, which is why we call him Myles smile. However, he has a big heart, loves his momma especially, and is always ready to lend someone a hand.
Myles loves the outdoors, which is seen from his love of cars and his penchant for hiking and moving fast through every adventure while he reminds us to walk faster every 20 seconds.
My Hubby, Blair aka La Media Noche
My husband, Blair, is amazing. He is the most understanding, supportive, and patient soul in the world. It is because of him that I am able to follow my dreams and passion and do all the crazy things I want to do. Despite being very busy himself, he always takes the time to come to every fun family adventure and never says no.
He will never jump off an airplane. That is a definite and resounding NO; however, he will be there to see me land one day.
