It’s an amazing resort that offers ample activities to keep the kids busy, from mini golf and hot tub to indoor swimming pool, skating, tennis, pickleball, and even an indoor kids’ bouncy area and pool table. My kids love it, and I’m confident your little ones will too! We recently stayed in one of their spacious King suites with bunk beds, and it was absolute perfection! The stunning view from the room made it feel like a luxury retreat. My kids adored having their own space to rest and watch TV, while I could unwind without sharing beds. It reminded me of Great Wolf Lodge but with a more relaxed atmosphere.
Convenience for Our Little Ones
When traveling with younger kids, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay offers cribs in the bedroom at no additional cost. This thoughtful touch made it easy for us to focus on relaxation while our little ones slept soundly.
Half-Day Kids Camps
We took advantage of their half-day kids camps, and it was a game-changer! For $70 per child, our kids enjoyed other activities for up to 3 hours. This gave me time to recharge and enjoy some quiet moments.
Full-Day Camps
For a more extensive break, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay offered full-day camps from 9 am to 4 pm for $104 per child. The full-day camp is from 9 am to 4 pm and during this time you can explore the resort’s facility while your kids enjoy other fun attractions.
Pool and Movie Nights at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay
The resort’s heated pool is a hub of activity, hosting daily pool and movie nights for families. We loved splashing around with our kids while watching a favorite film. The movie schedule can be found in the lobby, and snacks and drinks are available for purchase to make the experience even more enjoyable. Movie nights start at 6 pm and 8 pm, and the pool area is equipped with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for families to unwind together.

Things to Keep in Mind
– Parking: While parking is free, the lot is located far from the hotel. Be prepared for a walk or consider using the paid parking area closer to the hotel (which we opted out of). Alternatively, you can opt for valet parking for $21 per day or free self-parking.
– On-Site Recreation: Some activities, like mini golf and skating, require an additional fee. Plan accordingly to ensure you stay within your budget.
– No Microwave in the Room: Unfortunately, there is no microwave in the room. You’ll need to head down to the lobby floor to use the microwave.
– WiFi Issues: The WiFi was horrible, and we had a hard time connecting our PC and cell phone. To resolve the issue, we were advised to call tech support at 603-413-0052. After providing our information, we were able to connect. However, this process felt complicated and unnecessary. If you encounter similar issues, be prepared to troubleshoot.
– Pet-Friendly: This hotel is pet-friendly, so you can truly bring in the entire family! Keep in mind that you’ll need to pay a fee of $185 for your furry friends.

However, we were a bit disappointed with the food quality. Unfortunately, our meals were overpriced and lacked flavor. The dishes were simple and didn’t quite live up to our expectations. We think this is a huge area where the hotel can improve. With a bit more attention to detail and creativity in the kitchen, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Cambridge, MD could truly offer an exceptional dining experience.
