What’s new on the blog?
Tickets for the Dr. Seuss Experience in Washington, DC are selling out. It looks like they still have weekend availability in May if you plan to take your kids.
Tickets for the DMV Chocolate & Coffee Festival in May at the Dulles Expo Center are going on 50% off starting today! The last day to catch this sale is February 26th.
NOVA Wild, Reston’s local zoo, is under new ownership. The non-profit has teamed up with Lumagica to host the Great Migration Light Show from February 17 – April 19, 2023, celebrating its grand opening.
Alice in Wonderland Experience is coming to Alexandria, Virginia May 20th, 2023, and tickets are selling fast. If you or your kids are a fan and are looking to check them out, now is your time to buy your ticket.
On the blog last week, I visited the Black Hair Experience DMV with my kids. They had an opportunity to learn more about the diversity and creativity of African American hairstyles and understand why we Black women use different types of hairstyles to maintain and keep up our hair. It was an incredible experience!
